PRECISION MACHINING

Our machine shop offers a diverse and flexible approach to production, able to cope with small batch runs to high volume supply.

We pride ourselves on our bespoke service providing prototype machining to a number of clients for research and design purposes. All types of machining are catered for within our shop including CNC milling and turning, vertical boring, broaching, manual milling and turning.

We have continued to invest in the latest machinery and have recently taken delivery of a number of new Doosan machining centres capable of operating 24hours a day. We have experience in the machining of both ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastics and even GRP. Please see our work page for examples of our work.

Our Work

FABRICATION

With a large, fully equipped workshop, our team of skilled fabricators are experienced in producing complex one off and small batch production batches to repeat components called off at regular intervals to meet our customers’ requirements.

We have a wealth of experience in the manufacture of fabricated items in a comprehensive range of materials ranging from stainless and carbon steels to Aluminium, brass and copper alloys. We are able to work with a wide range of gauges from thin sheet/section to heavy plate/section.

Our Work

WELDING

Welding within the Petrochemical, nuclear and aviation sectors requires us to work to the highest level of in house procedural control and exact the highest standard of welding expertise. Therefore, our welders are trained and coded to ASME IX BS4870 and EN288 in the MMA, MIG and TIG welding processes and are familiar with manufacturing to BS5500 and ASME VIII to produce pressure vessels. We also have Lloyds approvals to meet SOLAS requirements. Please see our work page for examples of our work.

On site we have a Laser cutting machine capable of cutting material thickness up to 20mm.
